FAQ

Q- Will it clog my pores?

A- Tallow is actually really similar to our skin’s natural oils so it absorbs beautifully without sitting on top and clogging pores. It’s rated low on the comedogenic scale (the scale is the likely hood of clogging pores). A lot of our customers have noticed improvements in skin texture and tone over time.

Q- Dose it smell like beef?

A- No, Only if it's been made badly. We render our own tallow until every impurity and every smell is gone. What you actually smell is a faint buttery/honey scent from the shea butter and beeswax. No masking agents, No essential oils, nothing added to cover anything up.

Q- I've reacted to tallow creams before. Why would this be different?

A- Check what else was in it. Most tallow creams add cocoa butter, squalene, olive oil, or essential oils and fragrances, any of which can trigger sensitive skin. Ours is 4 ingredients: Tallow, shea butter, beeswax, Jojoba. The fewer the ingredients, the fewer things to react to. If you reacted to another tallow cream, it was almost certainly something they added.

Q- how long will it take to ship my order?

A- Your products will be shipped next business day.

Q- What's our return policy.

A- If you find that you have a reaction to our products we refund 100% of the purchase price.

  • if you change your mind, Items that have been used cannot be returned, unused items can be returned and purchase price refunded (shipping at buyers cost).

A- tallow soap we recommend you store the products in a cool dry place.

A- Tallow balm should always be kept in a cool location and out of direct sunlight.

Q- Will it melt?

A- no it will not Melt at room temperature, Tallow soap is no longer tallow, it has been chemically turned into soap during the soap making process.

  • Tallow Balm dose contain raw tallow, with the shea butter, jojoba oil and beeswax it stabilises the tallow at room temperature.

Q- Does tallow soap kill germs?

A- Tallow soap works the same way all traditional soaps do — it lifts and washes away bacteria, dirt, and impurities from your skin. While it doesn’t chemically “kill” germs like an antibacterial product, studies show plain soap is just as effective at reducing harmful bacteria during handwashing. In fact, the FDA banned common antibacterial chemicals like triclosan in 2016 after finding no added benefit over regular soap. Clean hands, simple ingredients — that’s the goal.
